Little Boney and his Winter Extinguisher (at last!) 2024 / Exhibition and film / 14:20 min

The exhibition reflects on the global achievement against "General Winter", the cruel winter that struck Napoleon and other invaders from Western Europe in their movement towards Moscow. In the centre of the exhibition is a personal heating bag and an investigation of Elikal, the private Israeli arms company that sells the bag alongside police and military commodities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The Project explores the role of private security companies in the occupied territories and in the ongoing wars in Gaza. The bag is revealed as a shield against the winter; a form of defence within psychological and physical interaction with nature; offering a form of refuge from the uncertainty in the state of climate crises and the continuous wars in Ukraine and in Gaza.
